Maik Burlage

Maik Burlage is the CEO of Wingfield, a tennis startup that has developed a hardware-supported technology that turns any tennis court into a smart playing surface in seconds. Wingfield recently received 4 million-dollar funding from leAD Sports Accelerator (and other investors). Maik was competing on courts across the globe when an injury cut his tennis career short, finishing with an ATP singles ranking of #1201. Following his experiences at Hawaii Pacific University and Schuttler Waske Tennis-University, Maik felt that tennis needed to be brought into the 21st century, prompting him to co-found Wingfield in 2017.
